Circles & Red and Green

The shape of an apple, the colors of an apple.

An apple is a CIRCLE. An apple can be RED or GREEN. Today we find circles and sort apples by color!

1What is a circle?learn

Trace the circle with your finger.

A circle is round and has no corners. The sun is a circle. The moon is a circle. An apple is a circle. Trace around the big circle!

2Circle huntfind

Tap every circle in the kitchen scene.

Look at the kitchen. Find circles: the clock, the plate, the wheel of cheese, the cookie. Tap each one!

3Red basket / Green basketsort

Drag each apple to the right basket by color.

Red apples go in the red basket. Green apples go in the green basket. There are 6 apples — sort them all!

4Color wordssay

Say "RED" and "GREEN."

Find something RED in your room. Now find something GREEN. Tell a grown-up what you found!

5Why circles rollreflect

Think and answer.

Circles have no corners — so they roll! Squares have corners and they stop. Can you find one thing that rolls and one thing that doesn't?
